Looking to launch or grow your surveying career? Atwell is seeking a Survey Field Technician to support residential, commercial, and mixed-use land development projects throughout the Phoenix metro area.
This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced survey professionals, gain hands-on field experience, and contribute to projects that help drive the growth of one of the nation's most active development markets.
What You'll Do
- Assist survey crews on residential, commercial, and land development projects throughout the Greater Phoenix area.
- Perform field activities including topographic surveys, construction staking, boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, and as-built surveys.
- Operate and maintain modern survey equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support construction layout, monument placement, field measurements, and data collection.
- Work closely with Crew Chiefs and project teams to deliver accurate, high-quality survey data.
- Develop technical skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of land development projects.
What We're Looking For
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Basic understanding of mathematics, geometry, algebra, and trigonometry.
- Ability to work outdoors and travel to project sites throughout the region.
Preferred
- Previous survey experience or internship experience.
- Familiarity with boundary, ALTA, topographic, or construction surveys.
- CST Certification (Level I, II, or III).
