The Automotive Practice at Epsilon is a rapidly growing team, driving growth for major players in the automotive industry - from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to dealerships across North America. Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of .net based applications and components for the automotive marketing platform. This includes designing, developing, testing, analyzing and maintaining new software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery, VueJS, Angular, and Bootstrap.
- Build and enhance microservices and APIs based on business and application requirements.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in requirements discussions to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Assist in system and component-level design, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Create and maintain unit tests and contribute to test automation with QA teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards, application performance, and development practices.
- Leverage AI/ML frameworks and integrate machine learning models within .NET applications.
- Work with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) to design, deploy, and optimize applications in a scalable environment.
Qualifications
- 4 to 8 years of software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, Angular, Vue.JS and SQL Server/Oracle.
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks (Vue.js/Angular, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery).
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP, Redis Caching, and microservices.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented analysis/design, web architectural patterns, and UML.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and ability to integrate ML models in .NET applications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and software development life cycle practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Visual Studio 2019+, Git/TFS, and NoSQL solutions (e.g., Redis).
- Familiarity with Service Bus architecture.
- Automotive marketing domain knowledge (a plus).
- Strong interpersonal skills, time management, and a collaborative mindset.
