This role has a fixed term period of 12 months.
ROLE SUMMARY
The market Finance teams support multiple activities from US GAAP, management of local statutory Financial Statements, taxation and advisory to the local Commercial teams. This will form part of the in-market teams, supporting activities across various markets. The initial tasks to be performed are related to new e-billing and e-reporting requirements but there is a strong possibility to assist with other Financial Reporting activities over time.
RESPONSABILITIES:
E-Billing Operations
Support e-billing and e-invoicing processes across multiple markets.
Monitor daily e-billing transactions within the various portals and resolve processing exceptions.
Coordinate with local business stakeholders in multiple markets to address invoice rejections, validation failures, and system issues.
Coordinate with centralized teams in hubs to address invoice rejections, validation failures and system issues.
Maintain documentation and process maps related to e-billing activities.
Compliance & Regulatory Support
Ensure compliance with local e-invoicing, VAT, and e-reporting regulations.
Support implementation of new legislative requirements impacting electronic invoicing and reporting.
Support internal and external audits relating to e-billing controls and compliance, as required.
Financial Control & Accounting
Perform reconciliations between e-billing platforms, ERP systems, and accounting records.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies impacting financial reporting.
Support period-end close activities related to invoicing transactions and associated reconciliations.
Assist with preparation of statutory and management reporting requirements.
Maintain effective financial controls and SOX-compliant processes where applicable
Financial Reporting & Statutory Accounting
Balance Sheet reconciliations
Variance Analysis
Prepare specific MJEs
Provide reports and analysis based on KPMG request or any other audit missions
PO creation, EPAYs, CBP
Statutory Accounting preparation
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Finance or Economics preferred
Experience in accounting
Ability to work in a high-performing team environment
Level of business English is required
Technical Skills Requirements
Excellent oral, written, and overall communication skills
Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to execute work plans
Strong relationship building capabilities
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
Understanding of VAT and indirect tax requirements relevant to invoice processing preferred
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Knowledge of e-invoicing/e-reporting platforms and digital compliance solutions is desirable but not mandatory
Experience in working with Microsoft office package
