They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.Those in deal strategy at PwC will focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. Your work will involve analysing market trends, assessing business opportunities, and developing strategic frameworks to guide clients in making informed decisions regarding their deals. You will help clients navigate complex transactions, identify potential risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to maximise value and achieve their business objectives. Working in this area, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients in formulating and executing effective strategies to optimise outcomes in their deal-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support deal strategies
Analyze target companies’ financials, business models, and market positioning
Develop detailed business plans, growth strategies, and synergy assessments
Assist in preparing client presentations, reports, and other deliverables
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support senior team members in client meetings and workshops
Continuously monitor industry trends and developments relevant to client sectors
Contribute to internal knowledge development and capability-building initiatives
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
Relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related field
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Vietnamese language proficiency is required
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Proactive, curious, and a team player with a strong client-service mindset
