Our Opportunity Summary

The US Expansion Construction team leads the design and build-out of Micron’s most advanced facilities in the United States, including major new manufacturing sites in Boise, Idaho and Clay, New York. We are creating the next generation of high‑tech infrastructure that will power Micron’s future! We work collaboratively, innovate boldly, and take pride in building the spaces where breakthrough technology comes to life.

As the NY Commissioning Program Manager on the US Expansion Strategic Programs team, you will guide a technical team responsible for commissioning all facility systems to ensure operational readiness for manufacturing. This role is on‑site and hands‑on, making a direct impact from day one.

What's Encouraged Daily

  • Build commissioning processes, procedures, and qualification standards in partnership with Strategic Technical Program Management

  • Lead and develop a high‑performing technical team, including performance management, succession planning, and professional development

  • Oversee commissioning plans, procedures, and execution for all facility systems while driving lessons learned into concurrent programs

  • Maintain program KPIs, reporting, and communication with DOCs, project management, and key partners

  • Ensure compliance with design requirements, local codes, safety standards, and Micron policies throughout the commissioning lifecycle

How to Qualify:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent technical experience

  • 15+ years commissioning experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or high‑tech manufacturing environments

  • 10+ years managing technical teams

  • Proven experience leading commissioning for large‑scale capital projects

  • Proficiency with Autodesk tools (Revit), Microsoft Office, and cloud‑based commissioning systems

What Sets You Apart:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent technical experience

  • 20+ years commissioning semiconductor facilities

  • Strong understanding of cleanroom operations, process equipment, and facility utilities

  • Experience applying AI‑enabled solutions to improve commissioning accuracy and speed

Our team's vision is to develop your skills in an inclusive, diverse environment across global teams. We provide a collaborative environment with groundbreaking technology to accelerate your career growth.
