Shuttle Driver

Job Description:

Job Summary:  Provide transportation services for passengers to and from parking lots and office/plant locations during peak work hours.

Essential Responsibilities/Activities:

• Operates a shuttle bus following all traffic laws and regulations to transport passengers to and from designated locations.
• Conducts routine vehicle inspections to ensure shuttle bus is in good working condition. 
• Reports any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
• Provides excellent customer service by being courteous, helpful, and responsive to passenger inquiries and needs.
• Reports any incidents, delays, or other relevant information to leadership.
• Maintains shuttle, including filling gas tank, cleaning interior and exterior.
• Cleans and sanitizes shuttle as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma and must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Class B with Passenger Endorsement Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Ability to maintain a clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents within a specified time frame.
• Previous experience as a shuttle driver or in a similar role is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to interact effectively with passengers.
• Knowledge and understanding of and committed to safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of passengers and others.
• Ability to be reliable and punctual to adhere to schedules and meet passenger expectations.

Work Environment:

• Possesses physical stamina to sit for extended periods, assists passengers with boarding as needed.
• This position is designated as a safety-sensitive job and therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing.

Pay Range:

$20.90 - $31.36
