DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Quality & Business Data Analyst Intern to join our team and support important data improvement initiatives.
During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience working with business data, data quality processes, and enterprise systems. You will support activities related to data cleansing, validation, analysis, and enrichment, helping to improve the quality and reliability of business-critical information.
As a Data Quality & Business Data Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Support data quality improvement activities, including data cleansing, validation, enrichment, and standardisation across business systems.
- Review and analyse data records to identify duplicates, missing information, inconsistencies, and outdated data.
- Assist in maintaining data accuracy and consistency across multiple platforms, including CRM and other business systems.
- Analyse datasets to identify trends, data issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support data reconciliation activities and help ensure alignment between different data sources.
- Prepare and organise datasets for reporting, automation initiatives, and future business projects.
- Assist with the implementation of data standards, naming conventions, and quality guidelines.
- Document findings and collaborate with business stakeholders to support continuous data improvement initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Data Quality & Business Data Analyst Intern:
- Currently enrolled in an MBO or HBO programme in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Available to complete the internship for a minimum duration of 4 months and able to commit to at least 32 hours per week.
- Strong interest in data analysis, data quality, and business processes, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to organise, analyse, and work with large datasets using Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (such as Salesforce), SQL, Power BI, or other reporting/data analysis tools is a plus.
- Interest in data governance, master data management, business intelligence, or digital transformation projects is considered an advantage.
