Description
Overview
Manage and improve industrial automation, control systems, and manufacturing information systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
Responsibilities
· Support, maintain, and migrate PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial network systems.
· Troubleshoot automation and control system issues to minimize downtime.
· Develop, modify, and optimize control logic and automation programs.
· Manage integration between production equipment and information systems.
· Monitor system performance and implement continuous improvement projects.
· Ensure cybersecurity and compliance for industrial control systems.
· Lead or support automation projects, upgrades, and new equipment installations.
· Maintain system documentation, backups, and change management records.
· Provide technical training and support to operations and maintenance personnel.
· Maintain IDC server, including OT core switch (vSphere, Nutanix).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
- Experience with industrial automation and control systems >10 yrs.
- Fluent in Thai and English Communication
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and maintenance practices.
- PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, etc.)
- HMI/SCADA development (AVEVA, FactoryTalk View, WinCC)
- Historian, OPC
- Industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, Serial, DH485, etc.)
- Electrical and instrumentation knowledge
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting
- Project management and stakeholder coordination
- Data analysis and manufacturing systems integration
- IDC Server, VM, Window / Linux server, Network layer L1 L2 L3, Gateway and Cyber security.
