Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Courier Driver to join our team in Durban, South Africa. As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages and documents to our clients in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver packages and documents to designated locations
• Plan and follow the most efficient route for timely delivery
• Load and unload packages and documents from the vehicle
• Ensure packages and documents are delivered in good condition
• Collect payments from clients, if necessary
• Communicate with clients and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and payments
• Report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a courier driver or in a similar role
• Good knowledge of Durban and surrounding areas
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy packages
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
