Patient Care Director - RN - Pediatric Perioperative Services - Days

Step into the role of Patient Care Director where you’ll oversee the daily clinical operations of our pre-op, intra-op, and post-op teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality and compassionate patient care to an increasingly diverse patient population. Seize this opportunity to become a transformational leader via shared governance. Engage, mentor, supervise and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire continued professional growth. Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation and scheduling.  Regularly assess unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance the patient experience. Excel as a change agent, advancing initiatives focused on enhancing quality and performance throughout the unit.

You’ll also partner with our senior leaders who encourage and support continuous growth in a collaborative environment. This is a full time position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Preferred Criteria

• Leadership experience
• Previous acute care experience in Perioperative Services

Required Criteria

• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field if already holds a BSN degree. If currently pursuing a Master’s Degree, must obtain within 1 year of hire. Either bachelors or graduate degree must be in nursing
• Current NYS RN licensure (or willingness to obtain NYS licensure)
• 3 years clinical experience
• BCLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association

$170,000-$217,000/Annual
