Revenue Cycle Patient Accounts Support

Overview

Amivie, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Patient Accounts Support to support our Revenue Cycle Patient Accounts team for our home care services. This position will assist with day-to-day administrative and account support related to self- pay balances, patient responsibility, and contract billing. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, comfortable communicating with clients, and able to manage routine tasks accurately, independently, and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Print and mail patient invoices, statements, balance notices, and other correspondence in a timely manner.
• Make outbound calls and respond to incoming calls and emails regarding outstanding balances, statements, payments, and basic account inquiries.
• Post and record patient payments and ensure accurate entry into the patient accounting system.
• Track outstanding balances, payments, outreach attempts, and other account activity.
• Complete routine paperwork, scanning, filing, faxing, and document management.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation within applicable systems and tracking tools.
• Escalate account questions or concerns to the Revenue Cycle Manager of
• Patient Accounts when appropriate.
• Assist with other Patient Accounts and Revenue Cycle duties and special projects as assigned.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and always comply with HIPAA requirements.

 

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong data entry and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating in a courteous and professional manner with clients, families, and internal team members.
• Proficiency in Google Drive, Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to learn billing systems, electronic health records, and other software applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and data-entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous clerical, administrative, customer service, healthcare, or medical office experience is preferred, but not required.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based position with frequent use of computers, phones, printers, and other office equipment.
• Requires sitting, standing, and performing repetitive clerical tasks throughout the workday.
• Potential for a hybrid work arrangement may be considered based on performance, business needs, and management approval.
• The manager will provide on-site training and support during the initial onboarding period and thereafter as needed. On-site manager availability may vary based on office location and operational needs.
