Head of Product Commercialisation

Shape the next stage of growth for an established Australian fintech lender.

We're partnering with a growing Australian fintech business that provides flexible lending solutions to small and medium businesses. They're looking for a Head of Product Commercialisation to take ownership of commercial strategy, pricing and product growth as the business expands its lending portfolio and develops new ways to reach customers.

You'll join a business with strong momentum and an established lending platform. The opportunity is to build on that foundation, identifying new customer segments, improving existing lending products and developing new offerings that support profitable growth.

Working closely with the CFO and broader executive team, you'll use customer insights, market data and lending economics to make decisions around pricing, product design and commercial performance. You'll also lead the Strategy and Data Science teams, turning analysis into practical changes that improve customer conversion, lending margins and operational efficiency.

A key part of the role will involve working across Credit, Risk, Sales, Product and Technology to balance growth opportunities with credit performance. You'll also help shape the business's expansion into embedded finance, developing new products and commercial partnerships that make lending more accessible to Australian businesses.

What you'll bring

• Experience in lending, financial services or fintech, with a strong understanding of pricing, credit risk, profitability and product performance.
• A track record of developing, launching or improving financial products, including identifying customer segments and building commercial cases.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to use data to improve pricing, conversion, margins and portfolio growth.
• Experience working closely with Credit and Risk teams to balance customer demand, lending growth and credit performance.
• The ability to lead Strategy, Analytics or Data Science teams and turn their work into measurable commercial results.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders and bring teams together to deliver change.
