LOCUM GP OPPORTUNITY – NORTH WEST BIRMINGHAM
We are currently looking for an experienced GP to provide regular locum cover at one of our friendly and well-established GP surgeries in North West Birmingham.
This is a great opportunity for a GP looking for a regular Tuesday session within a supportive primary care environment.
The Opportunity
Location: North West Birmingham
Day: Tuesdays
Hours: 10:00–17:00
Computer System: EMIS Web
Parking: Onsite parking available
Clinic Structure
- 15-minute routine appointments
- 30-minute appointments for baby checks and postnatal checks
- Face-to-face consultations
- Clinical assessment, diagnosis and management
- Prescribing and referrals where clinically appropriate
- Reviewing results and managing clinical administration
Essential Experience
The successful GP must be confident carrying out:
- Baby checks
- Postnatal checks
- General GP consultations
- Diagnosis and management of common acute and long-term conditions
- Appropriate prescribing and referrals
- Clinical documentation and follow-up
Previous experience working within UK General Practice is essential, along with GMC registration and a licence to practise.
