Labcorp is seeking a remote Senior Account Manager to join our Managed Care team.
Responsibilities
- Manage new, innovative client relationships with health plans and other healthcare payer clients and act as the primary point of contact for onboarding, escalations, contractual questions, and ongoing operations.
- Coordinate outreach and follow up for a growing list of prospective partners ensuring alignment and timely engagement across internal teams.
- Utilize CRM and analytic tools to maintain accurate client data, track renewals, and generate actionable insights for decision making.
- Monitor and report on client success metrics (KPI’s, NPS, renewal rates, adoption metrics) to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention. Collect and analyze client feedback to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and product offerings.
- Quickly develop an understanding of new customer types, their challenges and business objectives, and proactively think through Labcorp products and solutions to meet their needs while assessing customizations or internal process steps required. Independently navigate those process steps with limited client friction.
- Support the production of unique proposals customized for non-traditional clients including clear and tailored value propositions, novel pricing models to meet client framework, and a wide range of Labcorp products and services.
- Lead internal initiatives in collaboration with cross functional teams to integrate new client types into established processes; this can include tasks such as regulatory approval for a new client, piloting or evidence generating collaborations, or planning of joint strategy sessions.
- Collaborate with operations and product teams to align client expectations with product delivery and identification of mitigation strategies. Partner with sales and product teams to identify opportunities for revenue growth and expanded service adoption.
- Perform customized analytics on operational and financial performance to support informed decision-making and process improvement: sourcing trends, payment timeliness, contract compliance, and management of system access.
- Support sales presentations with an emphasis on ensuring that sales team members are adequately prepared for potential product and operational nuances.
- Influence client and internal timeline expectations and proactively negotiate with internal resources to deliver on SLAs and overall client expectations
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- 5+ years experience healthcare experience, including knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance standards

- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions while exercising sound judgment on when to escalate issues to management.
- Proven experience in client success or account management including onboarding and long-term relationship management.

- Advanced business acumen, including a strong understanding of business priorities, profitability metrics, revenue optimization strategies, market competition, and organizational efficiencies.
- Strong project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Advanced understanding of health and wellness strategies and delivery

- Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact successfully with senior leaders in client organizations
- Strong leadership and client relationship-building skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (primarily Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

- Highly detail-oriented writing, editing, and program management capabilities
- Solid grasp of the diagnostic and wellness industries
- Masters level education preferred.

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.
