About the Company
Our client is a well-established renewable energy developer and independent power producer active across North America, with a growing portfolio of utility-scale solar PV and storage assets. The business takes projects from early-stage origination through construction, commissioning, and long-term operation, working in partnership with First Nations equity holders, provincial utilities, landowners, and host communities. As British Columbia reopens large-scale renewable procurement, our client is expanding its Western Canadian delivery capability and is looking to strengthen its project management function with a senior utility-scale construction hire.
The Role
Our client is seeking to recruit a Project Manager – Utility-Scale Solar PV to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of utility-scale solar PV projects in British Columbia, from notice to proceed through to commercial operation and handover to asset management. The successful candidate will be responsible for multi-million-dollar budgets, schedules, EPC and subcontractor performance, transmission interconnection and permitting workstreams, First Nations partner engagement, and health and safety across the project lifecycle.
The role is based in Vancouver on a hybrid working model and requires regular travel to project sites across British Columbia, with occasional travel elsewhere in Canada.
