This role combines hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, test system maintenance, and technical analysis to deliver reliable engine development and competition support while driving continuous improvements in testing capabilities.

At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.

Essential Functions:

  • Support design, testing, and development of Mercury Racing outboards and sterndrives

  • Good written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret data, independently analyze component failures, and recommend component or system changes
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using hand tools, solder electronic circuits, and perform light machine repair.
  • Associates of Applied Science (Mechatronics, Computer Science) or equivalent
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support remote testing, Competition Series across the US, and remote week-long job related training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in dynamometer test systems
  • Experience with AVL PUMA, IndiCOM, Concerto, and Combustion measurement analysis
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software

The anticipated pay range for this position is 62,800 – 90,500, annually.  The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.  In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
