Job Overview 

The HRIS Analyst supports the administration, configuration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of the organization’s HR systems, with a primary focus on Workday. This role partners closely with HR, business stakeholders, and external consultants to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions, maintain data integrity, improve HR processes, and support key HR initiatives across the employee lifecycle. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Support the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of Workday across key HR areas, including HCM, Performance Management, Learning, Recruiting, Compensation, and related business processes. 
  • Configure and maintain Workday business processes, review templates, questionnaires, learning assignments, organizations, and other system components based on business requirements. 
  • Partner with HR teams and business stakeholders to understand operational needs, identify system solutions, and recommend process improvements and standardization opportunities. 
  • Support major HR initiatives and annual processes, including performance review cycles, compensation changes, organizational changes, learning initiatives, and other HR programs. 
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday custom reports and calculated fields to support HR operations, audits, compliance, and business decision-making. 
  • Perform regular HRIS data audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across employee records, organizations, job data, compensation, and other key HR information. 
  • Process and support employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, transfers, promotions, manager and organizational changes, compensation changes, contingent workers, and terminations. 
  • Support mass data updates and system transactions through EIBs and other Workday tools, including data validation before and after implementation. 
  • Perform system testing for new configurations, enhancements, business process changes, and Workday releases, documenting results and coordinating issue resolution as needed. 
  • Support Workday Learning administration, including learning campaigns, assignments, programs, audiences, course offerings, and related reporting. 
  • Support Performance Management processes, including review templates, process launches, testing, monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting. 
  • Assist with Workday security and business process access requirements in partnership with HRIS leadership and system administrators. 
  • Investigate and resolve HRIS issues submitted through the HR support/JIRA queue, escalating complex system issues to internal teams or Workday consultants when appropriate. 
  • Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, user guides, and training materials to support HR teams and end users. 
  • Provide reporting and data support for HR leadership, business stakeholders, internal audits, and external audits. 
  • Support additional HRIS projects, system enhancements, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives as business needs evolve. 
  • Project manage large HR initiatives such as compensation planning, 401(k) audit, LTI projects to keep stakeholders on track to deadlines. 

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. 
  • Experience in HRIS administration, configuration, or related HR technology roles. 
  • Experience supporting core HR processes and HR technology initiatives. 
  • Experience with HRIS reporting, data management, system configuration, and testing. 
  • Workday experience strongly preferred. 
  • Ability to speak and write both English and Spanish.
