Since September 2009, Whitecap has experienced remarkable growth, increasing production from 850 boe/d to over 365,000 boe/d. We have unconventional and conventional assets exclusively focused in Western Canada and the asset base includes the Weyburn EOR Project. As a majority owner and operator of the Weyburn EOR Project, annually we safely sequester approximately 1.5 million tonnes of CO2 making it a unique project within our portfolio. We currently employ 1,200 people, including our valued contract staff.

We are currently seeking a HRIS Analyst who will report to the Team Lead HRIS. You will be a team player who will support a busy HRIS function.
Main Responsibilities & Activities:
System configuration and troubleshooting across various functional areas in our HRIS (Workday)
Help administer annual compensation campaign
Improve existing processes and functionality that support data integrity
Plan, test, and coordinate system upgrades
Prepare training materials
Build and maintain custom reports
Manage system issues, research, and implement resolutions
Recommend process improvements and design efficiencies
Work with other teams and business users to ensure efficient processes
Load data in Workday with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
Provide support to employees with self-serve modules
Assist with new module implementation and ad-hoc HRIS projects
Support with a variety of projects across the team
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of technical experience with Workday is required
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strategic problem solver and analytical thinker with execution skills
Ability to learn and master various functional areas in a system
Workday experience in some of the following areas/modules is preferred:
- Benefits, Compensation, HCM, Payroll and Recruitment
- Business process configuration
- Configurable security
- Advanced reporting and analyticsStrong problem solving, process management and presentation skills
Attention to detail with a demonstrated high degree of accuracy
Efficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Team player who enjoys learning and contributing to team goals
