Position Summary:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.
Responsibilities:
- Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
- Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
- Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
- Automates manual release activities
- Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Development Experience required.
- Primary - Net/.Net Core
- JavaScript/Angular,Core Java
- Strong in .Net Fundamentals, Object Oriented Programming Concepts and C#
- Extensive experience in Unit Testing, Dependency Injection & Mocking
- Extensive experience in XML data processing
- Experienced in Angular,SQL,Java
- Extensive experience in developing Web APIs, WCF and Windows Services
- Extensive experience in implementing Distributed Transactions and Messaging using IBM MQ
- Extensive experience with Entity Framework and DB Transaction management.
- Good grasp of scalability and resiliency patterns like Bulkhead & Circuit Breaker.
- Good know-how of Best practices on Logging and Exception-Handling.
- Good grasp of SOLID, KISS and DRY Development practices.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in IBM WebSphere MQ and Oracle Database is a big plus.
- Software development using Eclipse / Rational Application Developer IDE / Visual Studio
- Understanding and usage of DevOps processes for the build and deployment.
- Good understanding of the document management standards, processes and technologies
- Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with MS Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop, review and comment on written
