Role Overview
The Emergency Department RN Manager will support nursing leadership and emergency care operations. Anticipated responsibilities include:
- Coordinate daily nursing operations and support safe, timely patient care.
- Guide staff performance, professional development, and accountability.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and other departments to address patient care and operational needs.
- Support staffing coordination, clinical standards, and quality improvement.
- Promote clear communication, sound clinical judgment, and patient-centered service.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Five years of recent progressive management experience, including emergency department experience.
- Current Texas RN license or an applicable multistate compact RN license.
- Active, unencumbered RN licensure.
- BLS provider certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- ACLS and PALS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within six months of employment.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 18 months of employment.
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) credential within 18 months of employment.
Under the client's submission criteria, all RN licenses must be reviewed through Nursys for current or prior disciplinary actions. Candidates with any history of nursing-license disciplinary action cannot be submitted.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree.
- Demonstrated ability to develop nursing teams and improve emergency department operations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
