Description
We are looking for Project Managers with at least 5 years of experience delivering safe and quality projects for newly awarded JOC Contract at Fort Stewart, GA.
The Project Manager is a Corporate position that oversees task-level construction efforts, manages on-site construction staff, and ensures contract compliance regarding the design/build and construction team.
- Attend critical meetings with the Contracting and GMHILL team
- Serves as the daily point of contact on Task Orders.
- Will be readily available in person, via telephone, or online as set forth in the contract.
- Has full authority over contracting, construction, scheduling, resourcing, and personnel matters, and provides decisions within the limits of the contract and job order specifications.
- 5+ years of experience in construction project roles (PM, Superintendent, SSHO, or QC Manager) managing 10+ projects simultaneously.
- Proven success managing projects from $1M to $15M+.
- Experience with federal projects (DoD or civilian agencies) preferred.
- Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook; Timberline a plus.
- Certifications: OSHA 10/30, ARC First Responder, USACE CQM (preferred).
- Familiarity with EM385-1-1, AHA, and APP documentation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Background in scoping, take-offs, or estimating is preferred.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Must read and interpret complex construction drawings.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and security checks.
- Ability to walk uneven terrain and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Regular standing, walking, climbing, and use of hands.
- Visual acuity for reading plans and working on-site.
