Senior Project Manager – MEP / Process Piping

Location: Phoenix 

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in MEP construction, mechanical systems, and process piping to join an established commercial construction organization.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing complex projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale MEP, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and process piping projects.

• Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and overall profitability.

• Coordinate with owners, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.

• Review plans, specifications, scopes, and project requirements.

• Oversee procurement, subcontractor buyout, scheduling, and project execution.

• Identify and resolve project, design, schedule, and cost issues.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and project teams.

• Maintain strong client relationships while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule expectations are met.

Ideal Background

• 7+ years of construction project management experience.

• Strong MEP/mechanical construction background.

• Experience with process piping or complex piping systems strongly preferred.

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, industrial, commercial, healthcare, manufacturing, mission-critical, or other complex projects.

• Strong understanding of project financials, contracts, scheduling, and change management.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
