About the role
Are you passionate about opening doors, winning new business, and building relationships with leading financial institutions?
As a Senior FX Sales Executive – Americas, you'll play a key role in expanding DIGITEC's presence across the Americas, combining new business development with building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients within the FX market.
We're looking for a proactive, commercially driven sales professional who thrives on identifying new opportunities, building a pipeline from the ground up, and developing strong, long-term relationships with both prospective and existing clients.
You'll drive new business development across the Americas, from identifying and engaging prospective clients to building relationships, understanding their needs, and coordinating commercial discussions with the relevant internal teams. Working closely with our global Sales, Product, and Client Services teams, you'll introduce DIGITEC's innovative FX solutions to banks and financial institutions across the region.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys both developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships, values autonomy, and wants to make a direct impact on our international growth.
The position is based on the US East Coast, ideally in the New York or Miami area, although we're flexible on location for the right candidate.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with banks and financial institutions across the Americas, with a strong focus on new logo acquisition.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and strategic outreach.
- Drive new business opportunities from initial contact and discovery meetings through product demonstrations, while coordinating commercial discussions and next steps with the relevant internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients across the Americas, acting as a key point of contact and understanding their evolving business needs.
- Identify potential opportunities for account development and additional product adoption, working closely with the relevant internal teams to explore and coordinate next steps.
- Establish relationships with senior decision-makers across FX Trading, Treasury, Technology, and other relevant business areas.
- Identify market opportunities and develop effective strategies to expand DIGITEC's presence across the Americas.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations, translating complex FX technology into clear business value.
- Collaborate closely with global Sales, Product, and Client Services teams to develop tailored solutions and ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
- Represent DIGITEC at client meetings, industry conferences, and networking events to strengthen our visibility within the FX community.
- Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and client feedback to support our commercial and product strategies.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed to meet prospective clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with international colleagues.
Preferred qualifications
- Several years of experience in B2B sales, new business development, or enterprise software sales, ideally within financial services or financial technology.
- A proven track record of generating new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and identifying opportunities for account development.
- Experience within FX, Capital Markets, FICC, Treasury, electronic trading, fintech, or financial software.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and key stakeholders across the Americas.
- Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to independently build and develop a sales pipeline, from prospect identification through the various stages of the sales process.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial, and results-driven mindset, with a strong motivation to open new doors and win business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with international teams.
- Fluency in English is required.
Nice to Have
Experience with one or more of the following would be an advantage:- An established professional network within banks, financial institutions, or the FX trading community in the Americas.
