Bobcat of Tidewater is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts & Rental Associate to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced dealership environment.

As a Parts & Rental Associate, you will be a key point of contact for customers, contractors, and technicians, assisting with parts sales, equipment rentals, inventory management, and customer support. Your ability to provide exceptional service and identify customer needs will directly contribute to the success of our customers and dealership.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and email customers.
• Assist customers with identifying, ordering, and purchasing parts for construction equipment.
• Coordinate equipment rentals, including reservations, contracts, returns, and customer inquiries.
• Recommend parts, attachments, and rental solutions that meet customer needs.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, stock, organize, and maintain parts inventory in warehouse and showroom areas.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Work closely with service technicians, sales representatives, and vendors to support customer needs.
• Help maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment.
• Follow dealership procedures and safety standards while supporting daily operations.

Required Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and business software systems.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in parts sales, counter sales, rental operations, customer service, inventory management, or dealership operations.
• Experience in the construction equipment, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, automotive, industrial, or related industries.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand equipment applications and components.
• Experience with inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
