IT & Digital: Procurement Specialist

The start date for the position is January 2027

Duration of contract: 12 months.

We are seeking a Specialist: Procurement to drive end-to-end sourcing, vendor management, and CapEx/OpEx procurement activities across our Fintech Business Units. Working closely with Group sourcing, opcos, and external suppliers, you will ensure cost efficiency, strict policy compliance, and seamless operational delivery in a dynamic, fast-scaling digital environment.

Key responsibilities

• End-to-End Sourcing: Lead RFx processes, e-reverse auctions, cost breakdown analyses, supplier evaluations, and commercial contract drafting.
• Budgeting & Spend Analytics: Support CapEx/OpEx planning, track procurement spend, and generate monthly cost and savings reports.
• Supplier Management: Oversee supplier qualification, onboarding, performance monitoring, and relationship management.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure SCM adherence across local opcos, Group Procurement, and Shared Services (GSSC) in line with corporate standards (Yello Book).
• Operational Execution: Manage the requisition/ordering lifecycle, support specialized categories (e.g., travel), and maintain audit-ready filing systems.
• Reporting & Escalations: Produce daily/weekly/monthly metrics and resolve operational vendor escalations.

Requirements & qualifications

• Education: 3-Year Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Contract Management (CIPS certification is an advantage).
• Experience:
• 4–6 years in general corporate procurement category management.
• 2–4 years at a specialist level, ideally within Fintech, Financial Services, Telecoms, or Tech.
• Proven exposure to multi-regional/global markets and cross-border operations.
• Key Skills: Spend analytics, cost modeling, RFx/e-auction tools, contract negotiation, vendor risk management, and strong business acumen.
