Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

This role is contributing to the ABB Robotics in Jakarta, Indonesia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.
• Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
• Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
• Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in industrial robotics, automation solutions, and the manufacturing industry market. 
• You have 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or industrial automation.
• Experience working as a Sales Engineer, Sales Specialist, or Business Development professional with industrial robots, robotic automation systems, or factory automation solutions.
• Possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM tools, sales processes, and customer relationship management.
• You are passionate about customer engagement, negotiation, and problem-solving.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• You are at ease communicating in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
