Dutch Speaking Customer Support Specialist | Remote Mainland Portugal

Job Description

We are recruiting Dutch-speaking Customer Support Specialists for a full-time remote role within mainland Portugal, supporting a leading international brand.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for Dutch-speaking customers across the Netherlands and Belgium. You will manage customer inquiries via digital channels, assist with account and order management, troubleshoot everyday technical or service issues, and deliver exceptional, empathetic customer service from the comfort of your home office.

Your Role

• Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer support in Dutch via phone, email, and live messaging.
  
• Assist customers with account settings, order tracking, product specifications, billing, and returns.
  
• Diagnose and resolve common customer challenges, aiming for first-contact resolution.
  
• Maintain a consistently high standard of service quality, empathy, and customer satisfaction (CSAT).
  
• Accurately log all customer interactions, notes, and resolutions within internal CRM systems.
  
• Escalate complex technical, payment, or operational issues to senior support tiers as needed.
  
• Participate in virtual team huddles, coaching sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  

Your Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Dutch (C1/C2 level), both written and spoken.
  
• Good command of English (B2 level or higher) for systems navigation, training, and internal collaboration.
  
• Strong communication skills, active listening abilities, and a solution-oriented mindset.
  
• Comfortable navigating multiple digital tools, chat interfaces, and CRM databases simultaneously.
  
• High degree of self-discipline, reliability, and time management required for remote work.
  
• Quiet, dedicated workspace with a stable, high-speed broadband internet connection.
  
• Previous experience in customer support, contact centers, or hospitality is an advantage, but not strictly required.
  
• Currently residing anywhere in mainland Portugal (or willing to relocate).
  

The Offer

• Work Mode: 100% remote work within mainland Portugal (work-from-home setup with technical equipment provided).
  
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8-hour daily shifts on a rotating schedule covering Monday to Sunday (with 2 scheduled rest days per week).
