Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a reputable business consulting and service company in their search for a General Accountant based in Sucat, Paranaque City.
Salary Range: ₱40,000 - ₱50,000
Work Setup: Hybrid
Shift Schedule: Day Shift
Location: Sucat, Paranaque City
The role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive General Accountant to support the company's day-to-day accounting and finance operations. This role offers exposure to key functions such as accounts receivable, payroll, tax compliance, financial reporting, and process improvement, making it an excellent opportunity for career growth. The ideal candidate is someone with strong technical accounting skills, a collaborative mindset, and the potential to develop into a future leadership role within the organization.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Receivable, including customer collections and monitoring outstanding balances.
- Prepare sales reports and perform sales reconciliations.
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Assist in tax compliance activities and prepare supporting schedules for tax filings.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Record financial transactions using Xero or other accounting software.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management reports.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support cross-functional projects and perform additional accounting responsibilities as the business evolves.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related accounting field.
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willing to take on responsibilities beyond core accounting functions when necessary.
