The ideal candidate is a highly motivated business developer who enjoys prospecting, negotiating, closing new business, and managing the full client relationship lifecycle while operating independently in a performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and outbound outreach
- Conduct discovery meetings to identify hiring challenges, workforce needs, and growth opportunities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers across multiple industries
- Negotiate service agreements and staffing partnerships
- Manage the complete business development lifecycle from prospecting through client onboarding
- Develop referral partnerships and expand existing client relationships
- Collaborate with recruiting teams to align talent with client hiring needs
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity, and pipeline management
- Utilize Apollo.io and other prospecting tools to generate qualified business opportunities
- Achieve business development goals through consistent outreach, follow-up, and relationship management
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of full-desk recruiting, staffing sales, or business development experience (agency experience strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated success developing new client relationships and generating placements
- Proven hunter mentality with consistent outbound prospecting experience
- Experience conducting cold outreach and business development campaigns
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and pipeline management skills
- Comfortable working within a commission-driven sales environment

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across multiple staffing industries or recruiting verticals
- Previous experience utilizing Apollo.io or comparable prospecting platforms
- Knowledge of CRM and ATS platforms

- Experience negotiating staffing agreements and client contracts
- Strong relationship-building and client retention skills
- Ability to collaborate with recruiting teams on high-volume and difficult-to-fill searches

- Compensation: $100,000–$350,000+ annually (Performance-Based Earnings)
