Associate Chaplain

Facility: St. Elizabeth Hospital

Department: Pastoral Spiritual Care

Schedule: Rotating, prn

What You Will Do

• Provide spiritual care and support to patients, families, associates, and community members.

• Assess, deliver, and document pastoral care, including prayer and spiritual counseling.

• Consult on ethical concerns and values-based decision-making, making referrals as needed.

• Assist with planning and implementing spiritual care programs and initiatives.

What You Will Need

Education: Bachelor's degree required.

• Master's degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Human Behavior or a related field preferred. 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE required. 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE preferred.

Work Experience:

• 2 years of healthcare experience is preferred.
