Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed knowledge and understanding of Verra Mobility's business and systems.
- Review, understand, and adhere to federal, state, and local legislation and contractual requirements affecting customers' processes and program operations.
- Build effective customer relationships, proactively engage training participants, and work with customers to help shape their knowledge and experience.
- Function effectively within project teams and develop strong working relationships with staff, customers, and vendors.
- Perform needs analysis to build training plans that are effective for software and technical training to ensure customers’ needs are met.
- Design, develop, and maintain customized training curricula — including presentations and user guides — ensuring materials stay current and accurate.
- Deliver formal training and coaching to external customers, employing adult-learning techniques, and meeting established training objectives.
- Evaluate training outcomes and incorporate feedback to continuously improve the training experience.
- Assist with special assignments and projects, as needed.
- Understand and adhere to company policies, including travel and expense (T&E) guidelines, and submit expense reports on time.
Qualifications:
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Strong consulting, analysis, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Skilled in instructional design, with hands-on experience developing training materials.
- Excellent adult facilitation skills.
- Experience facilitating web-based/virtual training, with familiarity with virtual classroom/webinar platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, GoTo Training).
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms.
- Strong organizational, task leadership, and planning skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Office 365).
- Federal security clearance eligibility.
- Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 3+ years in learning & development, specifically developing and delivering training solutions.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted content development tools.
- Experience with data visualization or reporting tools (Power BI).
- Business analysis, project management, and customer service skills a plus.
