Monday - Friday position with day shift hours. Work primarily 8 hour shifts. Minocqua is a fantastic place to work and has opportunity to work with a team that provides excellent patient care. Willing to train the right person on the job with no experience, but experience is preferred. Open to applicants who are interested in working 20-40 hours per week.

Job Description

Minocqua phlebotomy position is Monday - Friday from the hours of 7 AM to 5 PM. Primarily scheduled for 8 hour shifts in clinic setting. Will receive training on hospital collections. Responsible for the collection of samples; ensures patient/resident safety during the sample collection process. Records and documents patient/resident information accurately. Follows all standard procedures and safety regulations; deploys asepsis techniques during phlebotomy procedures. Communicates with patients/residents, collecting their health information and answering their questions regarding phlebotomy procedures.

Open to candidates who are interested in working 20-40 hours per week.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required.



Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
