Overview
Lorien Mount Airy is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will help support the care and comfort of our patients and residents by maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment throughout the community. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the proper and safe preparation, repair, application, and ongoing maintenance of building systems, equipment, and painted surfaces, both interior and exterior. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the facility remains in excellent condition for those we serve. Maintenance Technician Benefits- $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders and repair requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance throughout the building and surrounding property.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and systems as needed.
- Coordinate and oversee work performed by outside contractors to ensure quality and compliance with facility standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Previous maintenance, facilities, or related experience required.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, and prolonged standing.Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.

- On-Call Weekend Rotation *required*
- Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accomodation.
