Summary:
As a Data Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. The role includes creating efficient data pipelines to facilitate smooth data flow and ensuring the integrity and quality of data throughout its lifecycle. The Data Engineer is responsible for implementing processes that extract, transform, and load data across various systems, enabling seamless data migration and deployment. This position requires continuous collaboration with different teams to optimize data infrastructure and support organizational data needs effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures to support business requirements.
- Oversee the monitoring and troubleshooting of data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align data engineering efforts with organizational goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
- Experience with building and optimizing data pipelines and architectures.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing solutions and ETL frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing.
- Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data quality and consistency.
- Understanding of database systems, both relational and non-relational.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- This position is based at our PDC2C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
