Job Description Summary:

The Senior IT Procurement Director is a key member of the IT Procurement leadership team and is an individual contributor. The role partners closely with Global Technology, Digital Services, Cyber Security, Finance, Legal, and operating-unit leaders to enable Coca‑Cola’s digital and technology transformation agenda while ensuring governance, compliance, and measurable strategic value. We are looking for a proactive leader who is comfortable operating in a matrix, builds strong internal and supplier relationships, leads with integrity and inclusion, brings excellent negotiation skills, and delivers results through disciplined execution.

The position oversees category strategy development and execution, strategic sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management for specific IT products and services categories. It also serves as a trusted advisor to business partners and contributes to strategy and policy guidance to ensure the cost-effective flow of IT products and services across the organization. In addition, the role manages relationships with strategic IT suppliers within certain categories to secure favorable terms, mitigate risk, and identify innovations that support business objectives. Recognized as an expert both internally and externally, this leader partners with senior IT executives to evaluate new supplier and technology requests, recommend approvals or rejections, and continuously refine IT procurement strategies. The role is responsible for delivering value, optimizing costs, maintaining supplier quality and compliance, managing supply risk, shaping policy recommendations, fostering innovation, and aligning procurement strategies with broader business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

Own Global IT Sub-Category Strategy

  • Develop and execute sub-category strategies for digital technology services. This could include sub-categories such as IT professional services, cloud, infrastructure, application services and enterprise software.
  • Lead end‑to‑end sourcing initiatives, including RFIs, RFPs, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract execution.
  • Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization, cost avoidance, and working‑capital improvements across the technology portfolio.

Lead Strategic Supplier Relationships

  • Build long‑term, trust‑based partnerships with strategic technology and software suppliers; position Coca‑Cola as a customer of choice through transparency and mutual respect.
  • Co-create roadmaps with suppliers to drive transformation, innovation, and outcome‑based delivery models.
  • Align internal stakeholders and suppliers through change; manage risk and ensure continuity while maintaining flexible relationships.

Enable Technology & Digital Transformation

  • Partner with Technology leaders to support modernization initiatives across customer & commercial, cloud infrastructure, AI, cybersecurity, data & analytics, and enterprise platforms.
  • Provide commercial leadership for large‑scale technology programs, transformations, and renewals.
  • Translate technology roadmaps into aligned sourcing strategies with key business leaders.

Drive Commercial Excellence & Governance

  • Negotiate and manage complex, multi‑year global contracts aligned with corporate mandates, compliance standards, and risk controls.
  • Establish and maintain governance routines (e.g., QBRs, KPIs/SLAs) to manage performance, risk, and compliance across supplier relationships.
  • Lead financial modeling, benchmarking, and business case development to inform executive decision‑making.

Stakeholder Leadership & Influence

  • Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders across Technology, Finance, Legal, Enterprise Services, and Operating Units.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, providing commercial insights and recommendations to support technology and investment decisions.
  • Influence senior stakeholders through data‑driven insights, clear communication, and sound commercial judgment.
  • Advise on sourcing strategy, market trends, supplier innovation opportunities, and emerging technology considerations.
  • Participates in a positive culture of a global procurement team that supports global IT functions.


Education Requirement & Work Experience:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 -15 years of progressive experience in procurement / sourcing roles, with extensive IT procurement experience within IT services and software categories required includes leading IT RFPs and negotiations and executing agreements.
  • Proven experience leading complex global negotiations and managing large‑scale supplier relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable cost optimization and value‑creation outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of technology markets, vendor ecosystems, and commercial models.
  • Experience operating in a large, matrixed, global organization.
  • Internal stakeholder management & ability to influence
  • Supplier negotiation experience at executive level


Functional Skills:

  • The experience and ability to lead, prioritize, collaborate, and execute complex IT category strategy development and strategic sourcing initiatives is required.
  • Preferred experience and understanding of the Coca-Cola system including bottler relationships.
  • Effective communication, emotional intelligence, and presentation skills.
  • Relationship management abilities including stakeholder collaboration / alignment and ability to interact with the most senior leaders of large global suppliers.
  • Strong people skills: ability to develop/maintain productive business relationships and persuade/influence directly and indirectly.

Pay Range:

United States of America: 162,000 USD - 188,000 USD

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.

Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
