Direct Start is currently working with a local manufacturing company to find motivated and enthusiastic individuals for the position of Mechanical Assembler. This is an excellent opportunity for entry level candidates who have an interest in working in an industrial setting.
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems according to blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions. You will use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble, fit, and align parts and subassemblies to complete the final product. You will also be responsible for inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and making any necessary adjustments or repairs.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred, but not required. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, able to work independently and in a team, and have a strong work ethic.
