Senior Engineering Manager (Technical Coordination)

Context

The EET Green Line project is progressing in construction and integration of all disciplines. Particularly in the stations, the finalization of the design requires a final coordination stage between civil works, architecture, MEP and control systems to ensure a smooth installation on site, the identification of the necessary provisions and the advance resolution of all clashes. 

Missions/Main Duties

The senior coordinator for stations plays a key role in ensuring that the final design of all packages are fully integrated and ready for implementation. Supported by a team of architects and consultant experts of all disciplines, this position establishes and chairs workshops with all contractors to identify the clashes between packages, propose resolutions and seek the adherence of all parties, liaise with construction to understand the site constraints, ensure all the inputs are delivered on time and report to the client on the progress and key issues. This position reports directly to the deputy project director for engineering.

 

Design Integration & Clash Resolution

 

Chair and lead technical coordination workshops with contractors across all packages to identify design clashes.

 

Propose practical engineering resolutions and secure consensus/adherence from all involved parties.

 

Team & Discipline Coordination

 

Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of architects and specialist consultant experts.

 

Ensure all design inputs, deliverables, and package documentation are completed and submitted on schedule.

 

Site & Construction Liaison

 

Collaborate closely with the construction team to analyze site constraints and adapt design solutions accordingly.

 

Bridge the gap between engineering design concepts and practical field execution.

 

Reporting & Governance

 

Maintain regular progress reporting directly to the Senior Engineering Manager for Engineering.

 

Escalate critical issues, risks, and package conflicts to the client with clear resolution strategies.

Profile/Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent field.

 

Experience:

 

Solid background as a Senior Architect specializing in complex, high-public-usage buildings.

 

Direct experience with railway stations or major transit infrastructure is strongly preferred.

 

Proven Experience: 15-18 Years.

 

Technical & Management Skills:

 

Proven capability to manage and coordinate within a multi-disciplinary environment.

 

Strong appetite for deep technical analysis and structural/architectural details.

 

Demonstrated track record of proactively analyzing complex design issues and elaborating actionable solutions.

 

Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities.
