[What the role is]
[LTA-TRO] EXECUTIVE/ ENGINEER, INNOVATION & ANALYTICS[What you will be working on]
You will be part of a team driving innovation and the adoption of advanced technologies to enhance the reliability, performance, and sustainability of traffic and road operations, road assets, and related facilities.
Manage innovation projects from conception to implementation – you will oversee applied research initiatives and product development programmes, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure deliverables meet technical & operational requirements.
Develop strategies for scaling successful trial projects to wider deployment, including stakeholder coordination, resource planning, and change management.
To stay ahead of the curve, you will be expected to keep abreast of emerging developments in smart technologies, sustainability, big data, and intelligent systems, and identify opportunities to apply these to road operations and asset management.
Work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders — including internal divisions within LTA, other government agencies, academia, consultants, and contractors — to explore and implement technology-driven solutions that keep Singapore's road network operating effectively.
[What we are looking for]
Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related fields;
Strong interest in the use of technology and data;
Passion for innovation;
Possess strong problem-solving ability;
Able to work independently and a good team player;
Good writing, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills;
Experience in and/or good knowledge of the following will be an added advantage: structural design and construction, automation, sensor application for Civil or E&M infrastructuren and experience with research methodologies and technology evaluation processes
