Description
Join Life Fitness/Hammer Strength in Owatonna, MN as a Machine Operator on our 3rd Shift. You'll set up and operate a variety of production equipment to manufacture components for premium fitness equipment.

Base pay: $19.00-$22.13 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
3rd shift differential: $2.00 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift

What You'll Do
Perform simple setups and operate equipment such as manual punch press, shears, saws, drill press, timesaver, wash, and tumbler
Inspect parts to verify mechanical tolerances and engineering specifications
Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep a clean work area
Complete required documentation
Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hands-on work
Commitment to working safely
Ability to operate hand tools, gauges, torque wrenches, and production equipment
Ability to read measurements
Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures, work instructions, and production documentation in English
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical/trade school training in metal fabrication
Ability to read blueprints
Knowledge of inspection equipment (calipers, gauges, protractors, tape measure)
Working knowledge of metalworking
1 year of experience in a production environment
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs with assistance
