Location: Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station (CMSFS), Colorado

Shift: Day Shift may require nights/weekends
Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time
Our NORAD Operations Group
Selected by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Strategic Warning and Surveillance Systems Division for Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of critical mission systems to support the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).
Since 2020, through NISSC II, has provided:
- Operations, maintenance, and Sustainment of current and legacy systems for the surveillance and cataloging of manmade objects in space.
- Mitigation of orbital conflicts.
- Threat warnings and control from airborne, land-based, and space-based systems for threat activities.
- Operations and maintenance of classified communications.
- Software development and integration.
NISSC II supports the classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability and legacy space C2 systems located at:
- Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station (CMSFS), Colorado
- Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), Colorado
- Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska
- Vandenberg Space Force Base, California
- Numerous sensor and forward operator sites around the world
Description of Duties:
The Network Operations Center Lead supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will:
- Direct and mentor team to ensure excellent client service and uninterrupted mission support.
- Foster collaboration between team members and users.
- Monitor the teams to ensure completion of required tasks.
- Maintain and improve the excellent relationship between Government leadership and the NISSC II contractor team.
- Serve as a NISSC II team Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advisor on all matters related to CFP and NOC processes and mission systems status.
- Prepare, submit, and brief daily, weekly, and monthly metrics and status reports.
- Serve as a coordination point for CMSFS mission partners and customers.
- Develop and update operational checklists, concepts of operations, communication matrices, and related plans and documentation.
This position is expected to pay $110,000-$120,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
This position will be filled and work onsite at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station (CMSFS), Colorado

Basic Requirements:
- Must have an active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Must have DoD IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+ce)
- Must have 2 years or more of work history.
- Must have 2 years or more of directly related experience.
- Must have 2 years of experience in Customer Service orientation.
- Must have 2 years of leadership/management experience.
Desired Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with senior Air Force and/or DoD customers, as well as experience serving multiple DoD Agencies
- ServiceNow and Remedy trouble ticket experience and skills
- Experience with Air Force Communications Focal Point (CFP) applications, communications, infrastructure, processes, procedures, instructions, and Task Orders.
- Professional and possesses above-average verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess a general understanding of network architectures, client computing resources, and troubleshooting practices in a Microsoft Windows Operating System environment.
- Must possess a general understanding of and experience with workstation components including PCs, VDIs, KVMs, monitors, card readers, printers, and multi-function devices.
- Must possess a general understanding of network monitoring and STIGs.
- Must have the ability to prepare, objectively review, and deliver technical presentations.
