As Global IT Director, you will play a key role in ensuring that technology, data, and digitalisation continue to strengthen our business, support our customers, and enable sustainable growth across the organisation.
You will lead the global IT organisation and help shape how technology creates value throughout BioMar. Working closely with senior leaders and business stakeholders worldwide, you will ensure that IT remains a strategic enabler of innovation, operational excellence, and business performance.
Drive business value through technology, data, and global collaboration
In this role, you will define and execute BioMar’s global IT strategy aligned with business objectives. You will lead a globally distributed team and ensure that technology investments, systems, and capabilities support our strategic ambitions and long-term growth.
Your key responsibilities include:
Lead the global IT organisation and drive digital transformation, automation, and data-driven decision-making
Ensure successful implementation and continued optimisation of global ERP, BI, and master data capabilities
Oversee enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, IT operations, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and vendor partnerships
Identify new opportunities where technology can strengthen customer relationships and improve business performance
Act as a trusted adviser to executive leadership while ensuring strong governance, compliance, risk management, and budget control
Bring strategic leadership and a passion for digital transformation
You combine strong business understanding with deep experience in IT leadership, including experience from international manufacturing environments. You are comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels and can translate technology opportunities into tangible business value.
Success in this role requires the ability to build trust across a global organisation, lead change, and create alignment between business priorities and technology investments. You are motivated by enabling growth, improving business performance, and helping organisations realise the value of digital transformation.
The position is based at BioMar's headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark, where most of the IT team is located. The role requires a regular presence on site to support collaboration and engagement across the organisation. As the position is global, travelling is important to maintain relationships with your stakeholders.
