Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements
Essential Capabilities
- Significant experience in sourcing, procurement, commercial management, or vendor management
- Experience managing Real Estate, Infrastructure, General contacts-related categories
- Strong negotiation and contract management capability across services, hardware, and technology agreements
- Understanding of enterprise physical security environments and operational requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
Preferred
- Experience within banking, critical infrastructure, government, or highly regulated industries
- Understanding of operational resilience and critical infrastructure requirements
- Familiarity with supplier governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks
Experience
- 9+ years of overall Sourcing experience
- 5+ years of experience in Technology sourcing (SAAS) etc
- Experience managing high value and/or highly strategic enterprise suppliers
Qualification Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications preferred
- Significant experience in technology sourcing, procurement, commercial management, or vendor management
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and monitor all activities relating to supplier contracts across the business divisions responsible for, from execution of contract to disengagement
- Apply and trigger contractual clauses, when necessary, throughout the contract lifecycle
- Work with the Service Managers across division to ensure service performance and quality meet expectations
- Where there is consistent poor performance or breach, work between Suppliers, Business and Strategic Sourcing to recommend remediations and treatment plans
- Monitor and manage contract spend & Implement continuous improvement
- Work with the supplier to identify contract optimisation initiatives
- Work in a cross-functional manner across sourcing and supplier management teams
