As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous interaction to gather insights, validate data models, and ensure that the data architecture supports organizational goals effectively. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data models meet business and technical requirements.
- Document data modeling standards and best practices to support consistency across projects.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues to maintain data integrity.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on data modeling techniques.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Graph Databases.
- Experience with data modeling concepts and techniques specific to graph database technologies.
- Ability to design and optimize data models for performance and scalability in graph database environments.
- Familiarity with query languages used in graph databases such as Cypher or Gremlin.
- Understanding of data integration and transformation processes related to graph data.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data relationships and translate them into effective models.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Graph Databases.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
