$50,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 relocation assistance 

CME allowance of $4,000

This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.

What You Will Do

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected hospital system, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

 

• Join an established team
• Call structure: 15 days of call coverage per month
• Practice setting: Inpatient
• Access to Support staff
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Provide pulmonary & Critical care consultation services in the inpatient setting
• Manage critically ill patients in the ICU, including ventilator management and multidisciplinary care coordination
• Perform pulmonary procedures as clinically indicated, including bronchoscopy and related diagnostic/therapeutic procedures
• Develop and build an outpatient pulmonary clinic practice from the ground up
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, lung nodules, interstitial lung disease, sleep-related breathing disorders, and pulmonary infections
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within electronic medical record

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
