Responsibilities

MV Transportation is seeking a Software Developer who is responsible for development, coding, testing support and maintenance of existing and new software applications using internet, mobile and low-code technologies. A successful candidate will have an excellent technical and troubleshooting background, experience with application design and usability, possess strong communication skill, and be adept working in a multiple team AGILE environment utilizing SCRUM methodology.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain modern React-based web applications hosted within Microsoft Azure.
• Utilize Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Design, build, and support solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Dataverse, and Power Automate.
• Develop, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs and web services utilizing JSON and modern integration standards.
• Build integrations with third-party platforms, vendor systems, SaaS applications, and internal enterprise systems.
• Configure and support authentication, authorization, and role-based security using Microsoft Entra ID and OAuth 2.0.
• Develop and maintain Azure-hosted solutions including App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, and related cloud services.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, technical reviews, and sprint planning activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, data models, and deployment procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, performance, and data-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
• Support software release management and deployment activities through Azure DevOps.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to established development standards, security requirements, and best practices.
• Work within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Qualifications

Talent Requirements:

• • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2-5 years of software development experience.
  • Experience developing web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies.
  • Experience developing and supporting Microsoft Power Apps and Dataverse solutions.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and JSON-based services.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and application hosting.
  • Experience implementing authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and enterprise applications.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps for source control, work item management, CI/CD pipelines, and software release management.
  • Experience with SQL and relational database design concepts.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and Azure SQL.
  • Experience with Power Platform governance and administration.
  • Experience supporting transportation, logistics, operations, field service, or enterprise business systems.
  • Experience developing mobile-responsive applications.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of application security best practices and secure API development.
