Position Overview:
This is an Associate position within the Plastics department to consistently produce molds and casts across a variety of composite materials (including but not limited to Fiberglass, Epoxy, Urethane, and Silicone) with excellent quality. This person must be a highly self-motivated individual that can move quickly and efficiently from one task to another and has the ability to work as part of a team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute processes for molding and casting according to the schedule.
- Consistent quality in molding, casting, trimming, and bodywork skills.
- Comprehension of different methodologies and how to find efficiencies.
- Exhibiting qualities of proactive thinking/planning.
- Execute processes for molding/casting to meet quality expectations set by both LF and client standards.
- Complete Plastics Fabrication QAP as required by each project.
- Identify potential ways to improve efficiency.
- Maintain shop safety guidelines and practices.
Additional Responsibilities may include one or more of the following:
- Travel to assist on installs.
- Cross-training to develop skillsets and support other departments such as Sculpting, Fit Up, and Print Clean Up.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years' minimum experience in a similar role or fabrication shop.
- Knowledge of fiberglass production, carpentry, and steel fabrication.
- Knowledge of the molding and casting process of sculptures.
- A detail-oriented multitasker. Must have great communication skills and the ability to easily adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with both electric and pneumatic hand power tools.
- Driver’s license required.
- High school diploma required.
- This position is full-time; must have flexibility in your schedule to allow for extended hours as needed on a project by project basis.
Compensation: Hourly position commensurate with experience.
