The Human Resource Generalist will support the needs of direct labor at our Forest Grove, OR site. This includes partnering with Supervisors to ensure a positive employment experience, resolution of employee relations concerns, and collaboration with the HR team in engagement and retention programs. This is a full-time, on-site position, work hours 5:30am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop strong working relationships to provide coaching, guidance and consultation on full-cycle employment matters. Identify training opportunities to enhance leadership capability across facility.
Partner with Supervisors to resolve employee relations or disciplinary matters; conduct investigations to ensure fair and consistent practices, make decisions on outcome based on the facts of the investigation. Provide guidance to Supervisors in issuing disciplinary actions as appropriate. Partner with local HR Leadership on complex matters, as necessary.
Partner with leaders drive engagement programs and positive employment practices focusing on employee morale and maximizing employee retention.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with Site HR Manager and business partners to drive business solutions and track progress.
Partner with supervisors and internal Talent Acquisition team to ensure staffing needs are properly identified and filled efficiently. Partner with HR Manager to determine effective recruitment strategies. Provide guidance to the hiring managers through the recruitment process where needed. Process job requisitions and offers through Workday (HRIS).
Ensure candidate pre-hire actions are complete and facilitate New Employee Orientation.
Support the TTM Operator Advancement Program to identify employees ready for advancement and or development.
Promote recognition and rewards programs, ensuring full communication and execution of established company programs; track usage and demonstrate impact of increased usage.
Advocate for TTM's HR Shared Services Model, supporting local training and reinforcing employee use of the ticketing system for tactical HR questions and support needs.
Ensure compliance with appropriate state and federal employment legislation, including FMLA/OFLA, Oregon Paid Leave and other related Oregon employment practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of HR best practices, Federal and State employment laws, and their implications in HR Management.
Experience with employee relations and investigations required, with ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to make decisions on routine employee-related matters.
Experience partnering with remote Talent Acquisition to drive recruitment and meet hiring goals, preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with all employees and supervisors.
Ability to drive behavioral change where appropriate.
Excellent verbal and written and presentation/communication skills.
Problem solving skills; ability to research and exercise judgment on basic problems
High level of integrity, respect for confidential and sensitive information
Team-oriented; ability to collaborate and have fun.
Required Education and Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business/HR management OR equivalent years of related work experience. Professional HR certification, HRCI or SHRM preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years supporting full spectrum of HR disciplines preferably in a high growth manufacturing environment; strong preference for experience supporting direct labor in a manufacturing environment; Aerospace and Defense industry experience a plus; experience working in a matrixed environment and partnership with HR Centers of Excellence

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
