HammondCare Home Care are actively looking for an experienced Full-time Workforce Planning & Optimisation Manager to join their team located in St Leonards NSW
About the role
The Workforce Planning & Optimisation Manager is responsible for strengthening workforce planning, onboarding and service flow to improve the scalability, efficiency and sustainability of Home Care services.
Working closely with the Care Operations Manager and Workforce Scheduling Manager, the role provides demand and capacity insight, identifies improvement opportunities and supports the development of more effective workforce and service models.
The role focuses on planning, analysis and continuous improvement, and does not own day-to-day care delivery or current roster execution.
Essence of the role:
- Demand & Capacity Planning: Develop demand forecasts and workforce capacity models to support forward planning and identify risks.
- Workforce Modelling & Optimisation: Analyse workforce utilisation, scheduling patterns and service performance to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Onboarding & Service Flow Improvement: Improve the flow from intake to service
- commencement to reduce delays and service gaps.
- Performance Insight & Reporting: Provide clear insights to support operational decision-making and performance improvement.
- Systems & Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to systems, data use and operational processes
About You
- Commitment to engage and align with Hammond Care’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
- Significant experience in workforce planning, operations or service delivery.
- Strong analytical capability and ability to translate insight into action.
- Experience driving operational improvement and influencing stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of workforce utilisation and service delivery environments.
- Exposure to workforce management and scheduling technologies.
- Tertiary qualifications in health, business, operations, or a related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with key stakeholders
- Knowledge of aged care compliance and administrative processes (desirable).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
