Job Description

As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Role in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a luxury retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a welcoming atmosphere while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, common areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access to help to deter loss, disruption, and other security-related concerns.
• Assist with closing activities, queue and crowd observation, and general support for retail operations while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
