Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed CPR Patrol in Whiteland, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will support access control and badge-related activities while communicating professionally with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and documenting events as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
